Inventory Pro supports organization branding through logo customization and visual identity settings. Configure logos to appear on printed documents, reports, and throughout the application.

Logo Configuration

Organization logos appear on purchase orders, shipping documents, reports, and other printed materials. The system supports multiple logos for different purposes.

Logo Specifications

For best results, prepare logos according to these specifications:

  1. Navigate to System → Configuration → Logo Settings (or the appropriate configuration screen)
  2. Click Upload next to the logo type
  3. Select your logo file (JPG/JPEG format)
  4. Preview the logo placement
  5. Click Save to apply

Multiple Logo Support

Inventory Pro supports context-specific logos for different business scenarios.

Logo Resolution Order

When displaying a logo, the system checks in this order:

  1. Record-specific logo (PO, Order, etc.)
  2. Related entity logo (Customer, Vendor, Warehouse)
  3. User logo
  4. Global default logo
  5. System default (CISS logo if no custom logos configured)

Report Branding

Logos automatically appear on printed reports and documents.

Documents with Logo Support

  • Purchase Orders: Header logo on printed POs
  • Delivery Receipts: Logo on PO delivery receipts
  • Packing Slips: Logo on shipping packing slips
  • Asset Catalog: Logo on asset catalog entries
  • Reports: Header logo on printed reports

Configuring Report Logos

  1. Upload the logo through the configuration screen
  2. The logo appears automatically on supported documents
  3. Different documents may use different logo contexts (PO vs. shipping)

Email Branding

System-generated emails include organizational branding where configured.

Configuring Email Settings

Email templates and branding are configured through:

  • System → Configuration → Email Settings
  • Individual module settings for module-specific emails

Note: Email template customization may require administrator access to template files.

Logo Storage

Custom Objects System

Logos are stored in the CustomObjects table, linked to specific records or global settings:

  3. Consistent Branding: Use the same logo across all document types
  4. File Optimization: Optimize file size while maintaining quality

Configuration

  1. Start Global: Configure a global logo first, then customize by context as needed
  2. Test Documents: Print sample documents to verify logo appearance
  3. Backup Logos: Keep original logo files in a secure location
  4. Review Periodically: Update logos when branding changes
